Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 May 2026

Draft for client review. This is sensible boilerplate based on UK GDPR and our enquiry-form data flow. Please review and confirm before launch — particularly the cookie / analytics section and any supplementary data you hold beyond contact-form submissions.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by NORTHANTS EVENT SOLUTIONS LTD(“we”, “us”, “our”), company number 16440988, registered in England & Wales at Finedon Siding Industrial Estate, Compton House, Furnace Lane, Wellingborough, NN9 5NY. We act as the data controller for any personal data you provide through this website.

For any privacy-related question, contact us at info@northantseventsolutions.co.uk.

2. What information we collect

We only collect personal data you provide voluntarily through our enquiry forms. This typically includes:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (if provided)
  • The content of your message

Our website does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect payment details on this website.

2.1 Server logs

Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically processes standard request logs — including IP address, user agent and timestamp — for security and performance purposes. These logs are not used for marketing.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss the services you're interested in.
  • To provide a quotation, follow up on a project, or arrange the services you have requested.
  • To meet our legal, regulatory and contractual obligations (including bookkeeping and tax).

The legal basis for processing is normally your consent (when you submit a contact form) or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Where we are providing services under a quote or contract, the legal basis is the performance of that contract.

4. Who we share your information with

We share personal data only with service providers we rely on to run the business, and only to the extent needed:

  • Formham — receives our contact-form submissions and forwards them to our team inbox.
  • Vercel — hosts this website and processes standard request logs.
  • Email and IT providers we use internally to communicate with you and store correspondence.
  • Suppliers and subcontractors involved in delivering your event, where we need to share relevant details to fulfil the work.
  • Regulators, courts and authorities where we are legally required to do so.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting work, and then for as long as required for our statutory record-keeping obligations (typically 7 years for financial records). Enquiries that don't lead to work are normally deleted within 24 months.

6. Cookies

This website uses only the technical cookies required to load the site correctly. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies as part of the standard build. If we add analytics (e.g. Plausible, Google Analytics) we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Have your data erased, where applicable.
  • Object to or restrict our processing of your data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it.
  • Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@northantseventsolutions.co.uk.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental loss, unauthorised access and misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage where appropriate.
